Elizabeth understands that change can be difficult and that it takes courage to seek support. She takes time to listen and understand your concerns, tailoring therapy to each individual’s particular needs. Together she will work with you to explore and understand your experiences, provide practical techniques to manage symptoms and stress, and promote growth and transformation toward personal and professional goals.

Elizabeth enjoys working with individuals who are interested in learning more about themselves and their relationships. She has been successful in treating issues related to self-esteem, anxiety, depression, relationship problems, pre-and postnatal concerns, and management of life transitions.

Elizabeth completed the Adult Psychotherapy Certification program at the Institute for Psychoanalysis in 2014. She specializes in emerging adulthood, working with young adults examining issues related to identity, self-worth, and life direction. She is also a certified Gottman “Bringing Baby Home” Educator and works with new and expecting parents around the adjustment to parenthood.

Elizabeth has taught Reflective Practitioner Supervision to students through Counseling@Northwestern and offers supervision and consultation services for emerging therapists.
